Darmasiswa Scholarship Program at IKIP Saraswati (Teacher and Educational Institute of Saraswati) Tabanan, Bali
The Darmasiswa Scholarship program is a non-degree scholarship program offered by the Indonesian government to foreign students from countries that have diplomatic relations with Indonesia to study Bahasa, arts, music, crafts and other subjects in selected higher education institutions across Indonesia. IKIP Saraswati has been a host of the Darmasiswa program since 2006. We have graduated students from all parts of the world.
The one year program runs from September to August. Classes are scheduled five days a week, Monday to Friday from 08.30 – 01.00 PM. The program follows the same curriculum and regulations given by the Secretariat Darmasiswa in Jakarta. The campus facilities that we provide include well-equipped and air conditioned class rooms, a language lab, library, and Gambelan and dance studio.
Additionally, we provide outdoor activities such as Balinese dance, gamelan, and cooking classes. Participants are invited to learn more about Balinese life and are regularly taken on exciting trips to neighboruring villages, ceremonies, temples and other places of interest.
